Amanda 's Biography

Amanda is a research fellow in the Stable Lives Safer Streets (SLSS) North/South Research Hub at Queen’s University of Belfast (QUB) where she co-produces interventions with communities to support the health and wellbeing of young people in Northern Ireland. 

During her PhD, she created the Andrizo Integrated Conceptual Framework to visualise the influence of gender and risk-taking behaviours on the development of suicidal risk in adolescent males.

Her research interests include monitoring and prevention of suicidal thoughts and behaviours, substance use, interpersonal violence, and unintentional injuries, as well as the production of interactive data tools. She prefers cats.
