
David's Biography
David is a Research Fellow in the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work in Queen’s University Belfast.
David has more than 25 years of experience as a health and social care researcher within both the National Health Service and academia. He has worked on many research projects with a wide variety of client groups including children, young people, and adults experiencing chronic illness and/or palliative care. David’s work has allowed him to gain experience in a range of research methods including both qualitative and quantitative techniques and has experience of completing Randomised Controlled Trials, systematic reviews, rapid reviews, and realist synthesis. David’s main interest is on working on applied research projects which can inform policy and effective service responses that will benefit service users both locally and globally.
