Emma's Biography

Emma has a BA in Law from King’s College London and an MSc in Nationalism and Politics from Edinburgh University. She also has an NCTJ qualification in journalism and a six-year career as a broadcast journalist. She worked as a radio reporter and producer/editor. She also worked as a legal researcher and financial investigative journalist.

Emma’s doctoral project explores the utility, feasibility and acceptability of social network analysis in the identification and potential disruption of higher harm youth violence in Northern Ireland within the context of trauma-informed justice.
