
Kelly's Biography
Kelly is a criminologist focusing on understanding the intricacies of justice-involved youth, crime, and society. She has a BA in Criminology from Queen’s University, Belfast, and an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Ulster University, Belfast. She has a versatile skill set in both qualitative and quantitative research. Kelly is a current doctoral candidate with the SLSS Hub, where she is undertaking a comparative study exploration of the experiences of justice-involved youths in the formal justice systems of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Through this research, she aspires to bring about meaningful change and empower the voiceless.
