Melanie is a social worker who has worked in the statutory and not-for-profit sectors in Scotland and Northern Ireland for over twenty years. She has a keen interest in building the capacity of organisations to implement policies and practices that will support meaningful change for individuals, families and communities. In CES, Melanie helps teams to use evidence together with their own organisational learning to develop their people and practice.

Melanie’s expertise includes communicating complex information simply and accessibly, training and group facilitation, organisational problem-solving and supporting service design and the implementation of new policy and practice across different sectors. Her academic studies include social administration & social policy, social work, and child protection practice.
