Project description

Despite increasing awareness of the role of exploitative adults in youth crime, little is known about young people’s perspectives on the issue of child criminal exploitation and the mechanisms by which this takes place on the island of Ireland. This project replicated a study undertaken by Colm Walsh in Northern Ireland, providing insights into the context of the Republic of Ireland. This will also provide comparative data to examine the phenomenon north and south.
